The Los Angeles Review of Books launched its inaugural print edition, the LARB Quarterly Journal, in the fall of 2013, fulfilling the promise to publish fun, smart longform writing in both print and digital pages. While LARB started as a digital-only magazine, we believed from the start that the printed book, far from being dead, was in fact alive and well, and remains one of the great alembics for public discourse today.
